Hey there! We’re Civics Unplugged, a team and community dedicated to training young Civic Innovators. Our core program is the Civic Innovators Fellowship that works with 1,000 high school students a year in online and in-person programs.

We launched in 2020, and have graduated over 3,500 Fellows, moved ~$400,000+ to support our alumni projects, and locked in plans to double our programming this year.

We’re looking for a Director of Alumni that is excited to make $70k+ meeting and creating lifelong relationships with the next generation of leaders from around the world.

Qualifications

• Experience managing communities, student programs, or otherwise cultivating networks that scale impact;
• Experience organizing or running political campaigns, or other long-term projects;
• Experience assisting students in career planning or professional development;
• Experience conducting outreach and working with partner organizations;
• College degree not required;
• Must live in the NYC metro area and willing to come into CU’s offices in midtown Manhattan at least 4 days per week

Civics Unplugged (CU) is a non-profit that empowers high school leaders with the training, funding, and community they need to become Civic Innovators. We do this through educational programs for youth seeking to become social entrepreneurs, supporting graduates as they launch projects and begin careers, and creating new initiatives that push the boundaries of civic education for youth. Through social entrepreneurship, our Fellows drive positive change in our climate, democracy, digital lives, and more.
